What Did 'Doomsday' Look Like around the World?

Everyone knows that 21st December 2012 was considered as 'Doomsday' across the world and today is 22nd December 2012 which means the 'Doomsday' is over (just for now!!!).The date, aside from the winter solstice, merely marked the end of a 5,125-year cycle (the 13th baktun)  and the beginning of a new one, according to interpretations of the Mayans’ long-count calendar. Here are some of the images that shows what happened across the world on this 21st December 2012:

Some people believe Bugarach, in the French Pyrenees, is one of the few places on earth to be spared in the apocalypse.

But for many around the world, 21st December is just another excuse for a party.
